DID YOU KNOW?  -- Three years before the 1995 Srebrenica Genocide, Serbs torched Bosniak villages and killed at least 3,166 Bosniaks around Srebrenica. In 1993, the UN described the besieged situation in Srebrenica as a "slow-motion process of genocide." In July 1995, Serbs forcibly expelled 25,000 Bosniaks, brutally raped many women and girls, and systematically killed 8,000+ men and boys (DNA confirmed).

RE: APPEAL

The so-called SR / Federal Republic / of Yugoslavia and its army continues its agrression against Bosnia and Herzegovina, or rather Srebrenica and Bratunac.

Genocide is being committed, Muslim civilians are being massacred on a grand scale, Muslim villages are being burned.

Up to now there are 80 dead and 40 wounded. This is not the final figure. In the meantime, the international organisations and the public are being showered with lies spread by the Serbian leadership and its media about the aggreession against the so-called SR Yugoslavia.

Please, judge for yourself what the truth is. Who can carry out aggression? The unarmed, hungry and exhausted people from Srebrenica and Bratunac or Milosevic's modern, armed army. How long will the world continue to observe silently and through its indifference support Karadzic and Milosevic hordes in their killing of the Muslim people, their destruction and obliteration of all that they had created over the years.

Ladies and gentlemen, you have sentenced us to total annihilation. You have prohibited us from imporing weapons to defend ourselves and you permit the Serbian ari force to bomb us. You do not stop direct aggression by the so-called Yugoslavia, you are not sending humanitarian aid and you are not attempting any military intervention.

We have not received from you up to now even the bare minimum of humanitarian aid that we have asked for. The figure of 648 people who have stared or died of diseases is astonishing but true. We would therefore request of the Security Council, the UN High Commission for Refugees, UNPROFOR in Sarajevo, the R BH Presidency and Government, and the R BH OS Main Staff the following:

Stop the aggression against the BH by the so-called SR Yugoslavia immediately.
Send UNPROFOR forces to the border with the so-called Yugoslavia.

We would like representatives from these organs to come to the area and see the truth for themselves. A humanitarian aid convoy with good and medicines must be sent to Srebrenica immediately. Journalists must be enabled to come to the area.

We ask the President of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Alija Izetbegovic, to discuss in Geneva SR Yugoslavia's aggression against the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina first and only then to move on to maps.
